Doli – Hrvaški san
Na južnem delu Hrvaške – dubrovniškem primorju v uvali Sestrice v mestu Doli, bo do leta 2015 dokončan turistični kompleks, ki bo konkuriral elitnim počitniškim destinacijam kot sta Abu Dahabi ali Monte Carlo. Gre za projekt z nazivom Hrvaški san, njegova vrednost pa je v prvi fazi ocenjena na 1,5 milijard evrov, na koncu pa bo ta zrasla na pet milijard evrov.

Skupna površina prostora, kjer je v planu ponuditi različne vsebine znaša 5.000 hektarjev od tega pa je en del v BiH. V načrtih je izgradnja 13 hotelov najbolj znanih svetovnih hotelskih verig, 56 luksuznih privatnih vil ranga od pet do sedem zvezdic, marina za megajahte s 400 privezi, poslovno letališče, golf igrišče, 350 apartmajev, stadion, sprehajališče, nakupovalni center, ulice in trgi z luksuznimi trgovinami, galerijami, muzeji, restavracijami, bari, diskotekami, sejemskim centrom, večnamensko dvorano za koncerte in športne prireditve in celo filmski studio, vse to pa bo pretkano z oljčnimi nasadi, polji sivke in vinogradi. V hotelih in vilah na Sestricah je v načrtu skupaj 3500 postelj, ob hotelih pa se bi nahajale impresivne vile površine 2000 kvadratov.

Avtorji projekta so si zamislili, da v bližnjem Popovu polju proizvajajo zdravo hrano za potrebe turističnega kompleksa, ideja pa je tudi, da se poleg polja v BiH zgradi naselje v katerem bi živeli zaposleni Hrvaškega sna. Gradnja najbolj luksuznega turističnega naselja na Jadranu, v idilični nedotaknjeni naravi uvale Sestrice, 27 kilometrov severozahodno od Dubrovnika nasproti Elafitskih otokov, bi se morala začeti do konca tega leta.

Področje na katerem se bo naselje gradilo se nahaja v bližini Dubrovnika od katerega bo, ko se zgradi avtocesta, oddaljeno samo deset minut vožnje z avtom. Glavni organizatorji projekta trdijo, da nobena druga destinacija v Evropi ni na enem mestu integrirala toliko vsebine. Ideja je, da se v Hrvaškem snu združi šarm Saint Tropeza in Porto Cerva, luksuzne navtične destinacije kot sta Cannas in Monte Carlo, najbolj znane golf destinacije iz juga Portugalske in zabava po vzoru Barcelone ali Las Vegasa.
