L'entreprise croato-russe Krass est le nouveau propriétaire de l'hôtel Toplice, ex-hôtel Aquae Vivae à Krapinske Toplice. La nouvelle administration a annoncé l'investissement dans l'hôtel qui, en ce moment, possède trois étoiles, 135 chambres avec un total de 245 lits, deux suites, une piscine intérieure, un sauna, une salle de fitness et une salle pour traitement médical. On prévoit de rénover les chambres, de remodeler l'intérieur et de construire un centre aquatique. La nouvelle administration prévoit de continuer la collaboration avec l'Hôpital spécialisé de réadaptation médicale Krapinske Toplice et de commencer la coopération avec Magdalena, la Clinique pour les maladies cardiovasculaires de la Faculté de Médecine de l'Université J. J. Strossmayer à Osijek et avec l'Hôpital spécialisé pour orthopédie et traumatologie Akromion. L'ancien État avait construit l'hôtel Toplice pour les mineurs de fond du Zagorje. Il se situe à Krapinske Toplice, qui existe depuis l'époque romaine grâce à ses sources thermales. Aujourd'hui les thermes sont célèbres avec quatre sources d'eau thermale entre 39º et 41º degrés, riches en calcium, magnésium et hydrocarbonate. La ville est située dans une vallée tranquille et jolie, entourée de pittoresques collines du Zagorje, à seulement 46 kilomètres de Zagreb. Au milieu de 19ème siècle, Jakob Badl, alors le propriétaire, a construit le premier bâtiment de l'hôpital et avec cela a jeté les fondements d'un sanatorium moderne.
