TripAdvisor: Dubrovnik entre los mejores destinos europeos
TripAdvisor, la mayor red mundial de viajeros, ha publicado recientemente los ganadores del concurso Travelers' Choice Destination Awards para el año 2011. En total han recibido el premio a los mejores destinos a lo largo de todo el mundo 337 destinos. Los ganadores se han elegido basándose en millones de comentarios y opiniones de usuarios sobre sus destinos favoritos y se ha medido la popularidad general del destino en el portal TripAdvisor.com.

El premio más importante al mejor destino mundial se lo ha llevado Cape Town en la República Sudafricana, del que destacan las playas y el Cabo de Buena Esperanza, que ilumina la punta sur del continente africano.

El segundo puesto va para la ciudad de Sydney, el tercero para Machu Picchu, el cuarto para París y el quinto para Río de Janeiro.

Dubrovnik se encuentra en el decimoquinto lugar de la lista de los 25 mejores destinos europeos. Se encuentra entre el mar Adriático y Dinarid. Dubrovnik se ha recuperado de la destrucción de la guerra de los Balcanes y los viajeros pueden volver a esta tranquila ciudad. TripAdvisor lo describe como una ciudad muy acogedora y agradable, una especie de "city break" destino para numerosos viajeros europeos y sobre todo destaca su encantadora parte antigua, sólo abierta a los peatones.

El portal de Internet TripAdvisor es el lugar de referencia para millones de enamorados de los viajes que habitualmente comparten sus impresiones sobre ciudades, playas, hoteles y restaurantes.
