"The Wine Gang" en Londres presenta 45 vinos croatas
Los críticos de vino británicos, conocidos como el grupo «The Wine Gang», han visitado recientemente Croacia y han probado 280 muestras de 98 bodegas de todas las regiones de Croacia. Han elegido 45 mejores vinos que presentarán a los medios de comunicación, restauradores y comerciantes de Londres.

El grupo que se compone de cinco críticos de vino de renombre británicos, le han otorgado el título a la mejor bodega a la bodega Kozlović. Malvasía Santa Lucía 08 con 95 puntos es la mayor nota obtenida por un vino seco croata hasta ahora. Los británicos estaban especialmente entusiasmados con los vinos blancos croatas, y de los vinos tintos han destacado Plavac Mali.

Entre los miembros del grupo «The Wine Gang» está Joanna Simon, la autora del "Gran Libro del Vino" y columnista de The Sunday Times, la editora actual de la revista House and Garden, y la presidenta de una de las comisiones más importantes del mundo IWC de Londres. También son miembros del grupo Anthony Rose, columnista y crítico de Independent y Decanter y presidente del jurado de Decanter World Wine Awards. Tom Cannavan, es autor del portal web Wine-pages y colaborador de la revista Decanter, The World of Fine Wine y The Wine Report. También son miembros del grupo David Williams, corresponsal de Observer y editor ayudante de The World of Fine Wine, al igual que Jane Parkinson, experimentada juez vinicola y periodista, cuyos textos han recibido el prestigioso trofeo Louis Roederer.
