Lun - Olivares que quitan el aliento
Lun es un pueblo pequeño en la isla de Pag, muy conocido por sus olivares. El gobierno local ha comenzado una iniciativa para la formación de una entidad pública que se ocupe de la preservación de los olivares. También tienen puesta en marcha la realización de un proyecto "Los jardines y olivares de Lun", un proyecto muy importante para la conservación y el futuro desarrollo de la tradicional y autóctona producción de aceitunas. Con este proyecto tienen prevista la construcción de una recepción, tienda de souvenirs, edificio público y la construcción de un sendero de unos 7 km que atravesará los olivares, varias casitas autóctonas, zonas de descanso y miradores. Los visitantes podrán atravesar los olivares también en un pequeño tren turístico.

La zona de Lun tiene alrededor de 80.000 árboles de olivo, de los que destacan por su importancia unos 1500. Se cree que algunos de los árboles "silvestres" de olivo tienen más de 1000 años, podrían ser los olivos más antiguos del mundo. En toda la zona del Mediterráneo ya no existen olivos salvajes en tan buen estado y en su hábitat natural.

Lun es un pueblo que se encuentra en la zona norte de la isla de Pag, y que por su forma recuerda al dedo índice de la mano. El origen del nombre no es muy seguro pero se han encontrado varias versiones en unos documentos antiguos. Podría ser Punta Loni, de la evolución del nombre en latín e italiano para el cabo de Lun: Punta Longa, Lunga, Lun.
