Labin - Rabac - Kršan - Raša

A combination of rural and fish cuisine accompanied by divine wine

The long culinary tradition will thrill you with various dishes, which present the tradition of this particular part of Istria. Relax in one of the many restaurants, taverns or rural tourist accommodation in Labin, Rabac, Kršan and Raša.

Experienced chefs and excellent staff serve delicious fish, lobsters, scampi, seashells and other seafood, as well as specific rural cuisine, combining homemade pasta with various meat sauces. Order the dishes whose specific preparation has been passed from one generation to another, such as pasta fuži or gnocchi with venison sauce, krafi with sauce or pasutice with cod. If you are looking for a smaller meal or an entrée, treat yourself to prosciutto and cheese with warm homemade bread.
After your meal, try the enchanting Istrian wines and olive oil. The first grapes and olive trees were planted in Istrian soil almost 2,000 years ago, at the time of the Roman Emperor Marcus Aurelius, and their long tradition and the specific flavour can be recognised upon the first taste.
