Opatija – Neue Investitionen in die Liburnia Riviera Hotels
Nach Beendigung der Sommersaison begann das grösste Hotelunternehmen der Region Kvarner - Liburnia Riviera Hotels (LRH) aus Opatija, grössere Investitionen umzusetzen.

Das erste Hotel, das komplett renoviert und saniert wird ist das 1884 erbaute älteste Hotel in Opatija, nämlich das Hotel Kvarner. Zuerst wird die Fassade erneuert und dann folgt die bauliche Sanierung der bekannten Hotelterrasse. Die Arbeiten sollten bis Frühling nächsten Jahres fertiggestellt werden. Danach folgen der Umbau und die Renovierung der Innenräume, vor allem des berühmten Kristallsaales des Hotels Kvarner, der für die Veranstaltung von Tagungen, Seminaren und andere Events modern ausgestattet wird. Diese Arbeiten sollten auch bis zum Frühling 2012 ausgeführt werden.

Die für diesen Winter geplanten Investitionen werden auch die restlichen Hotels des Unernehmens LRH - Hotel Ambasador und die dazugehörige Villa Ambasador, Hotel Kristal in Opatija, Hotel Bristol in Lovran und Hotel Marina in Mošćenička Draga umfassen. Zur Zeit erörtert man im Konzern noch die Möglichkeite einer ersten Investitionsphase in das Camping Medveja, wo 20 neue Mobilheime aufgestellt werden sollen.

LRH plant im nächsten Jahr cca 5 Millionen Euro in die Renovierung seiner Objekte, Aufbau der Hotelinhalte, Erneuerung der Fassaden, Sanierung und Neugestaltung der Strände, Ausstattung und Wartung. Die geplanten Massnahmen sind der erste Teil des gesamten Investitionsplanes, mit dem das Unternehmen LRH bis zum Jahre 2016 insgesamt mehr als 65 Millionen Euro in die Hotels der Gruppe investieren will.
