«Prinzessin der Adria» - Kette von Nautik-Zentren auf den Inseln
Die Zagreber Firma „Prinzessin der Adria“ plant bis 2018 eine Kette von 12 Nautik-Zentren auf den Adria-Inseln auszubauen. Die Kette wird mit Lošinj im Norden anfangen, um sich dann über die Brijuni Inseln bis Vis und Lastovo im Süden auszustrecken. Das Investitionsvolumen wird auf 350 Millionen Euro geschätzt. Die ersten vier Yacht-Häfen sollen bis 2013 auf den Inseln Lastovo, Kapri, Mljet und Lošinj entstehen. Die zweite Phase sieht den Marina-Ausbau auf Korčula, Vrgada und Dugi otok vor, während Olib, Šipan, Vis, Brijuni und Stari Grad auf Hvar um das Jahr 2017 an die Reihe kommen sollten.

Die Investoren haben sich mit der Firma Geofoto, die über eine Flotte von Flugzeugen verfügt, verbunden. Durch die Anschaffung neuer Wasserflugzeuge (Amphybien), werden die Nautik-Zentren auf den Inseln an die Flughäfen in Dubrovnik, Split und Zadar angebunden, was beispielsweise ermöglichen wird, dass ein Yachtbesitzer aus Deutschland in nur drei Stunden zu seinem Schiff vor der Insel Lastovo gelangen kann.
