Zagreb preko celega leta turistom ponuja različno ponudbo, spomladi pa se slednja zahvaljujoč tradicionalnemu Festivalu sv. Marka in prireditve Zagrebački vremepol, še bolj »razcveti«.

V času Festivala sv. Marka se številni muzeji, cerkve in trgi zagrebškega staromestnega jedra na Gornjem in Donjem gradu spremenijo v prizorišča glasbenih umetnikov. Tudi letošnji že 13. Festival po vrsti bo gostil domače in tuje soliste in ansamble.

Festival je nastal iz ideje, da se z nastopi vrhunskih glasbenikov oživijo »uspavani« prostori, predvsem Gornjega grada. Festival se vsako leto prične 25. aprila na praznik sv. Marka po katerem je tudi poimenovan. Ta datum je pred 800 leti določen kot datum mestnega sejma, osrednjega letnega dogodka v trgovskem in družbenem življenju.
Zaradi vrhunskih umetnikov, raznolikosti programa in lepote prostora v katerem so organizirani koncerti, se Festival sv. Marka postavlja ob bok relevantnim glasbenim dogodkom na evropski festivalni sceni.

Konec aprila se prične tudi Zagrebački vremeplov, prireditev tekom katere vsake sobote do konca septembra ali začetka oktobra na ulicah in trgih mesta poteka različen glasbeno-scenski program, ki spominja na zagrebško preteklost.

V času prireditve na osrednjem mestnem trgu nastopajo člani folklornih skupin, v parku Zrinjevac pa potekajo promenadni koncerti, kjer lahko sprehajalci uživajo v zvokih valčka, koračnic, napevov iz operet ter priljubljenih evergrinih. Gornji grad je rezerviran za ulične glasbenike in staromestne pesmi.
