Ston – Muzej vinogradništva in vinarstva
V Putnikoviću, ki je od Malega Stona oddaljen 20 km, bi se prav kmalu moral odpreti prvi hrvaški Muzej vinogradništva in vinarstva. V Muzeju ne bodo razstavljeni le eksponati, temveč bodo organizirani tudi obiski vinogradov in degustacije vin, tam pa se bo vino arhiviralo kot v svojevrstni vinski banki. V muzeju površine cca. 750m2 se bodo predstavljala in prodajala vina in spominki vezani na vinarstvo in vinogradništvo, v planu pa je tudi odprtje kmetijske lekarne in vinske akademije za izobraževanje sommelierjev in vseh tistih, ki se ukvarjajo z vinogradništvom in vinarstvom. V muzeju bo razstavljena arheološka zbirka, orodja in predmeti za obdelavo vinogradov in proizvodnjo vina, etnografska zbirka in zbirka vinskih etiket in steklenic.

Muzej se odpira v srcu vinorodnega pelješkega kraja, poznanem po proizvodnji vrhunskih črnih vin med katerimi so najbolj cenjena tista iz lokalitet Dingač in Postup.

Mali Ston so v 14. stoletju ustanovili Dubrovčani, ki so okoli naselja iz kopenske in morske strani zgradili zidove pravokotne oblike. Na južni strani so v 14. stoletju pričeli z izgradnjo petih stolpov poimenovanih Koruna. Od trdnjave se razteza Veliki zid z zgrajenim odcepom do trdnjave Podzvizd, ki je zgrajen v obrambne namene v 14. stoletju. Zid je dolg 5,5 km in je okrepljen s 40 stolpi in sedmimi stražarnicami. Zaradi impresivne dolžine ga imenujejo tudi »evropski kitajski zid«. Mali Ston je na daleč poznan tudi po vzgajališču školjk. Predstavlja idealen kraj za počitnice z obiljem prekrasnih uval in plaž za kopanje. Za ljubitelje ribolova je Mali Ston pravi kraj, medtem ko lahko tisti željni kvalitetnih in svežih ribjih specialitet obiščejo poznane malostonske taverne in restavracije.
