National Geographic Traveler posvečen Hrvaški
Znana revija National Geographic Traveler bo izdajo za mesec marec na 137 straneh v celoti posvetila Hrvaški. Popularna revija bo opremljena z vrhunskimi fotografijami in slikovnimi komentarji avtorja Rudolfa Abrahama, ki bodo posvečeni hrvaškim naravnim lepotam, kulturni dediščini in ostalim turističnim atrakcijam »Lijepe naše«.

Za to sijajno promocijo Hrvaške v enem izmed najbolj cenjenih turističnih časopisov je v veliki meri zaslužna novinarka in urednica National Geographic Travelerja, Caroline Hickey, za katero je hrvaška turistična skupnost organizirala študijsko potovanje po Hrvaški v mesecu maju 2010.

National Geographic Traveler je v izdaji za Nizozemsko in Belgijo pred kratkim objavil tudi foto reportažo o Zadru. Fotograf Christophe Vander Eecken je svojo reportažo poimenoval Zalig Zadar (Blaženi Zadar). Fotografije so nastale v času njegovega bivanja v Zadru v juniju lanskega leta, med številnimi poznanimi zadrskimi motivi pa je izbral Rivo, Narodni trg, Pozdrav Suncu, Kalelargo iz zvonika sv. Stošije. Trg pet bunara in ostale znamenitosti.

Poleg navedenih fotografij so podani splošni podatki o mestu Zadru in tudi ostale koristne informacije.

Zadar je mesto pomembne tri tisoč letne zgodovine in je izjemno pomembnega kulturnega nasledstva. Nahaja se v samem srcu Jadrana in predstavlja urbano središče severne Dalmacije kot administrativni, gospodarski, kulturni in politični center regije.
