Mediteran kot je nekoč bil
Starohrvaško kraljevsko mesto Nin je okrog 15 km oddaljen od Zadra. Nin je naseljen že 3000 let in velja za pomembno arheološko najdišče - tam so ostanki največjega antičnega hrama na Jadranu, mozaiki, cerkev, ki jo imenujejo najmanjša katedrala na svetu, edinstvena romanska kronska cerkev, starohrvaška ladja Condura, ter še številne druge znamenitosti. Vse našteto zgovorno priča o antičnem času, ko je Nin bil škofovsko središče ter prva hrvaška prestolnica.

Nahaja se v plitvi laguni, ki jo obkrožajo polja solin ter dolge peščene plaže. Tukaj je tudi največje hrvaško najdišče zdravilnega blata. Ljubeznivi in gostoljubni domačini, gastronomske specialitete, ponudba Zaton Holyday Resorta ter ponudba zasebne namestitve...Vse našteto danes pritegne turiste, ki jim veliko pomenijo zgodovinske znamenitosti in lepo okolje. Najbolj priljubljena zabavna prireditev je Ninska šokolijada, ki promovira gurmansko suhomesnato specialiteto - šokol.
Poleg odkrivanja zgodovine boste lahko v Ninu spoznali tudi tradicionalen in naraven način proizvodnje morske soli. Na vhodu v Solarno se nahaja informativni center, ob strokovnem vodstvu pa boste zvedeli vse o zgodovini in načinu proizvodnje morske soli, kot tudi o predelavi soli. Hkrati boste veliko izvedeli tudi o močvirnih naselbinah v ninski laguni in bogastvu ptičjega sveta, ki jo naseljujejo.

Solarna Nin proizvaja tudi posebno cvetno sol, ki je naraven izvor magnezija in kalcija. Cvetna sol se prideluje po naravni poti in je, glede na to, da osvežuje in revitalizira organizem, idealna terapija za stresne situacije.
