La Méditerranée retrouvée
Kutjevo est la capitale viticole de la Croatie continentale. La petite ville est nichée dans la fertile vallée "dorée" de Požeška, sur les versants sud de Krndija et Papuk, dans la vallée étroite de la rivière de Kutjevo. Les fameuses caves de Kutjevo possèdent des vins millésimés: graševina (sorte de vin blanc) de Kutjevo de grande renommée, pinot gris, pinot blanc, traminac (sorte de vin blanc), riesling de ranjka (variété de raisins hâtive). Juste à côté du complexe des caves et de l'établissement viticole se trouve le beau château de Kutjevo, avec son entrée souterraine reliée à ceux-ci, et dans lequel ont parfois séjournés le baron Franjo Trenk et l'impératrice Marie-Thérèse.

Le traditionnel Vincelovo de Kutjevo est un spectacle lié au vin très fréquenté qui marque le début de la taille des sarments. Sur la Place de Graševina au centre de la ville, on fait griller des saucisses et du lard de Slavonie, le tout arrosé des célèbres vins de Kutjevo, tandis que de la scène, retentissent la musique des ensembles de tamburas et les chanteurs de klapa (a capella) invités.
