Dubrovnik

„La perle de l'Adriatique“, devenue une puissance importante de la Méditerranée après le 13ème siècle, a été édifiée au Moyen Age dans la partie sud de la côte croate de la mer Adriatique. Son noyau historique, situé au pied du mont Srđ, a sauvegardé pendant des siècles et jusqu'à nos jours, son caractère unique, délimité par des remparts. L’ensemble citadin de Dubrovnik occupe une place importante dans l'histoire du développement urbain. Malgré les destructions imposantes causées par le tremblement de terre de 1667, Dubrovnik a réussi à sauvegarder ses églises gothiques, baroques et renaissances, ainsi que ses couvents, palais et fontaines.
