En el mes de noviembre, en la festividad de San Martín, el mosto se convierte en vino. El nombre popular de la fiesta del vino, Martinje, es una costumbre muy arraigada en la tradición de la zona noroeste de Croacia, por lo que se sigue festejando hoy día. En la región de Zagreb Martinje se celebra en muchas localidades y ciudades. Entre ellas, por su tradición y un rico programa, destaca la localidad de Dugo Selo, cuyo protector es San Martín, pero existen otras como Samobor, Sveti Ivan Zelina, Velika Gorica y Jastrebarsko.
