Recently held in Solin, next to Split, was the two day 13th International Tourist Film Festival ITF`CRO. The first prize was won by the film ‘Omaggio a Romma’ by an Italian author Franco Zaffirellia. The same film was awarded prizes for best editing and camera.
The prize for the best Croatian national tourist film was awarded to the film ‘Zagreb Zagreb’ by the author Matej Meštrović, while the ‘Trophy Dujam’ was awarded to the film ‘Malaysia’, produced by the Malaysian ministry of culture, for the best promotional tourist film.
The film ‘Plava plaža’ (The Blue Beach) by author Miroslav Mikuljan was awarded a diploma for an inspired director`s approach to a tourist event. ‘Breathtaking Montenegro’ was proclaimed the best short video of the festival, while the prize for best film in the category up to 60 minutes was awarded to the film ‘Največje plavajoće zabavišće na svetu’ by director Drago Bulc in the production of RTV Slovenia.
There were 152 films from 47 countries competing at the ITF`CRO festival which was held as part of the 17th international tourism, film and landscape fair INTERTAS.
