"Vijur" the first hostel in Šibenik recently opened its doors to guests. The hostel is located in the suburb Ražine, in the premises of the former offices of a former trading house.

The former offices were converted into rooms and bedrooms, and other supporting facilities, such as a living room and a kitchen, which each hostel should have. The hostel holds 48 beds. It has one sleeping room with nine and seven beds, nine doubles, three triples, one four beds and one single room.

The hostel management has announced that during the International Children's Festival and other events they will have more favorable prices. With the hostel "Vijur" Šibenik now has a form of accommodation that it was missing.  The hostel is located less than two kilometers from the sea, and is close to four national parks – Krka, Plitvička jezera, Paklenica and Kornati, which make it significant.
