The tourist boards of the cities Čakovec, Karlovac, Koprivnica, Krapina, Samobor, Varaždin and Velika Gorica have prepared and recently presented a brochure called “Continental lifestyle destinations”. The goal of the tourist boards is to bring together the tourist and cultural offers and to make a significant impact on the domestic and foreign markets.

The seven listed cities are all in the range of 160 km and they complete each other in their offers. Together they have more than 1 600 beds in all hotel categories, about one hundred restaurants, 20 locations of natural heritage and almost 200 cultural sites. In this relatively small area there are almost a hundred castles and manor houses, numerous churches and sacral sites, valuable archaeological sites, museums and collections. This is an area of legends and stories, international festivals and events but above all, it is a place where the hosts are extremely hospitable.

The brochure is in the first place intended for travel organizers because it holds a lot of information that makes the planning of individual and group trips much simpler. Its practical advice, photographs and short texts are a great invitation for individual visitors.
