On the recently held international tourism fair TTF & OTM (Travel Tourism Fair & Outbound Travel Mart) in Mumbai, the capital city of Croatia was proclaimed the most desirable new destination outside of India and won the «Award for Excellence – the most promising new destination».

Zagreb was introduced independently as the capital city of Croatia and as a tourist and cultural centre. Participating in the fair were more than 700 exhibitors from 31 states and from 25 Indian federal states which introduced their tourist destinations.

Travel Tourism Fair & Outbound Travel Mart, which was held in Mumbai 18 - 20 February, is the largest Indian tourism fair but also the only one which focuses on trips outside of India.
