Merian once again features Croatia
The German magazine Merian has dedicated its July issue to Croatia and this is the seventh issue since 1960 that provides information and advice to tourists who visit the Adriatic. This time, the popular, luxury monthly magazine is reporting on cities and locations across about 150 pages, which will surely attract readers in Germany. It gives advice to sailing enthusiasts, features articles about Kornati and Istria, with special reports on Pula and Brijuni, Plitvice Lakes, Zagreb, Split, lighthouses on the Adriatic and, of course, Dubrovnik, including a report on its devastation during the homeland war. Eight years ago, in 2003, the Merian wrote a lot about the making of the movies about the Indian chief Winnetou on Velebit and Plitvice. This time, there is a detailed article about `Mr. Tito`s green salon` and his guests at Brijuni.
