The newly opened hostel - located in the town at the far east of Croatia - can without a doubt be described as charming. The town of Ilok is little by little increasing its various tourist offer. Located in the building of the old cinema on the main road that runs through Ilok, thanks to its rustic elements and creative decoration, the hostel Cinema leaves an unusual domestic feel. 4.5 million kuna was invested into the hostel.

In the same building there is a café, a disco and a pizzeria.

The rooms on the upper floor can be reached by an old wooden staircase across old fashioned mosaic floors and along walls covered in posters from long forgotten movies, yellow photographs from the past and old cinema projectors and vinyl records.

The hostel has 38 beds arranged into multiple bed sleeping rooms, with military bunk beds and colourful walls as well as totally modern shared bathrooms. On the top floor there are 12 beds for those guests who want that little bit extra – double-bed rooms, a refrigerator, a TV and private bathrooms.
