Istrian winemakers have this year for the second time been listed in the prestigious Italian wine guide Vinibuoni. Twenty manufacturers received this significant recognition: Agrolaguna, Benvenuti, Capo, Clai, Coronica, Degrassi, Franc Arman, Geržinić, Kabola, Legovina, Matošević, Franko Radovan, Ritosa Wines, Rossi, Marino, Tercolo, Tomaz, Trapani, Cattunar, Kozlović and Zigante.
Vinibuoni exclusively promotes winemakers who produce authentic wines. The selection is carried out by 80 experts, and the best wines are included in the Vinibuoni Guide. There are also special prizes, such as Corona (crown) and Golden Star. Corona is the highest award for excellence, representing a total score of professional judges and readers.
