The newly renovated hotel Valamar Riviera, formerly known as the Neptune Hotel, has recently opened its doors and welcomed its first guests. This elegant, small hotel, decorated in a nautical style, with a number of additional facilities is the perfect choice for anyone who expects luxurious rest and relaxation from everyday stress. It is also an ideal venue for business meetings, seminars, conferences and organizing various events.
About 40 million kuna was invested in the reconstruction of the hotel and raising its rating from three to four stars. Modern rooms and suites reflect the marine atmosphere, and the rich variety of Mediterranean cuisine can be enjoyed in the hotel show-cooking restaurant and in the à la carte restaurant Spinnaker which has a spacious terrace and stunning views of the Poreč seaside promenade. Hotel Valamar Riviera also offers delivery of food and drinks so guests can enjoy local and international delicacies in the intimacy of their yachts anchored in the port of Porec. The hotel also has a fitness room and beauty salon.
The hotel is situated on the waterfront in the historic heart of the town of Porec overlooking the sea and the picturesque island of Sv. Nikola. Hotel guests can enjoy the view of yachts moored at the nearby Porec marina and explore the numerous cultural and historical sights such as Eufrazijeva bazilika (Euphrasian Basilica) or Neptunov hram (Neptune Temple) which are just a few steps away from the hotel.
Except in the hotel, the Valamar group invested an additional 16 million kuna in the complete restoration of the Villa Polesine, also located in the old town of Porec. The villa will host the first international jazz festival in Croatia - Valamar Jazz Festival - from 9th to 11th July.
Valamar hotels in Rabac are also ready to welcome a new tourist season as 15 million kuna was invested in their refurbishment mainly in the reconstruction of Hotel Allegro, formerly known as Castor and Hotel Miramar, formerly known as Pollux. New investment has changed the external appearance as well as the landscape of the grounds of both hotels, and a number of rooms was connected into family rooms. The investment also streched to raising the quality of rooms at the Valamar Sanfior and camp Marino, which got 21 new plots, six mobile homes and renovated horticulture.
