Dubrovnik – «A chic destination»
The British monthly travel and lifestyle magazine, "Conde Nast Traveller" reports on Dubrovnik on five pages under the title "Croatian treasure: Visit the beautiful city of Dubrovnik on the coast" and with the conclusion, "Dubrovnik is again a chic destination" advises readers to visit and explore the city and the whole of Croatia.

The author of the report, British journalist Jonathan Bastable points out that a few cities in the world leave such a striking first impression, and that as soon as you see Dubrovnik you will want to approach it and enter it. Using "Shakesperean" attributes he brings the beauty of Dubrovnik closer comparing it with a "stone symphony", adding that this city is a magnet for well-known people, saying that a number of familiar faces stayed there and were looking for a house to buy (such as Oprah Winfrey, Kevin Spacey, Beyoncé...).

In the report he describes his own experience of Dubrovnik’s old town and its inhabitants and compares its liveliness to old Rome. He says Stradun is "simply magical", while compareing the magnificent walls with the Chinese wall. He also mentions "charming" Cavtat, impressions of the Festival "Julian Rachlin and Friends", his first encounter with harmony singing and advises readers to visit Dubrovnik in September and taste wines that deserve greater recognition.

From the hotel offer he points out Excelsior, Bellevue and Villa Agava, from restaurants Arsenal, Lokanda Peskarija, Poklisar, Nautika, the City Cafe and others.
