The famous tourist resort Crvena luka, near Biograd, should by the beginning of the summer season 2012 appear in its new edition. 20 million euros will be invested in the renovation of this resort. The modern tourist complex will have 900 beds altogether, in 330 four-star accommodation units. That is two more than the resort has at this moment. The plan is to build 20 villas and apartment buildings, a hotel with a wellness centre and a spa and various hospitality and sporting contents.
Crvena luka has always been the pearl of the Biograd Riviera and this part of the Adriatic, and with the renovation of capacity and the raising of categorization, owners are hoping to add to the overall improvement of the Riviera`s quality and offer.
As part of the reconstruction of Crvena luka the contents on the beaches along the picturesque sandy coast lined with a dense pine forest, will also be renovated.
Once a coronation city of Croatian kings, Biograd na moru is today a well known tourist and nautical centre and the same time the centre of Biograd Riviera.
This town which has expanded to the size that is perfectly suited to man, lies on a peninsula surrounded by modern marinas and a promenade from which stretches an unforgettable view of the Pašman canal and the islands scattered across it.
Its location in the centre of the Croatian coast, surrounded by three national parks (Paklenica, Kornati, Krka) and the nature parks Telaščica and Vransko Lake as well as its long tourist tradition and the rich tourist, sporting and hospitality offer are only some of the reasons for choosing Biograd and its surroundings as a destination for an interesting and dynamic holiday.
