The tourist resort Zaton near Zadar, which includes one of the best Croatian campsites, should in the next two years enlarge its capacity for another 2500 spaces in mobile homes and its campsite. Along with the new accommodation capacities there is also a plan for the construction of a small hotel and an aqua park. The total investment here would be from 18 to 20 million euros and it should be realised in 2013.

Next year this tourist resort will celebrate its 30th anniversary. The camp has been a holder of the ADAC «superplaz» sign for five years already. This is a sign awarded to the best European campsites. This campsite with 150 plots from 90 to 100 square metres stretches along a beautiful bay in the shadows of nature`s pine woods.

The tourist resort has 250 mobile houses, 118 four-star apartments and 475 three-star apartments built in the traditional Damatian architecture.
