Also planned is the opening of an agricultural pharmacy and a wine Academy for education of sommeliers and all those involved in viticulture and enology. Exhibited in the museum will be an archaeological collection, tools and props for the cultivation of vineyards and wine production, an ethnographic collection and a collection of wine labels and bottles.

The museum will be opened in the heart of the Pelješac wine-growing region, renowned for the production of premium red wines from which the most valuable ones are from Dingač and Postup sites.

Mali Ston was founded in the 14th century by the people of Dubrovnik, who had built rectangular walls around the settlement’s land and sea sides. The construction of a fortress with five towers called Koruna, began on the south side, in the 14th century. Stretching from the fortress is the Great Wall which branches out to the fortress Podzvizd, which was built for defensive purposes in the 14th century. The wall is 5.5 km long and reinforced with 40 towers and seven watch towers. Due to its impressive length, it is called the "European Wall of China". Mali Ston is widely known for its oyster shells. It is an ideal place to relax with an abundance of beautiful bays and beaches for swimming. For fishing fans, Mali Ston is the right destination, while those who want quality and fresh fish dishes can visit its famous taverns and restaurants.
