The construction of the replica of the fragment of the Sulejman Bridge and one of the water mills that once decorated the bank of the river Drava are two projects that should soon be implemented in Osijek. The first project named «The famous bridge of Osijek 1566-1686» is being introduced by erecting boards with a description and historical details about the legendary, eight kilometres long, Sulejmanm Bridge which stretched from Osijek to Darda and was built in 17 days. This bridge is mentioned in numerous historical and travel documents and during its construction it stood for an eigth world wonder. The next step is the construction of the replica of a 20 metre part of the famous bridge.

Along with the construction of the replica and a water mill, the tourism offer of Osijek will also be enriched by an electric tourist boat. There are also plans for the construction of cycling trails, the opening of an auto camp, a museum of honey making, a wine museum and a technical museum.
