Pašman - A new tourism investment commences

21 August 2012

hrvatska
Pašman Resort is a tourist resort that should soon begin with construction, after eight years of preparation. The project is worth between 600 and 700 million euros and is one of the largest tourism investments on the Adriatic. It was recently presented abroad, at the international exhibition Expo Italian Real Estate in Milan, while in Croatia it was first introduced to just a few members of the Assembly of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development two years ago in Zagreb. According to plans, an investor should be found who would construct an entire tourist town on Pašman, with five thousand beds, more hotels, villas and berths for boats. The construction would be carried out in several stages, at very attractive locations in the two bays on the southern part of the island of Pašman and works should be completed in five to seven years.

There has been talk about the construction of luxury facilities in these bays since 1971, when they were selected as the most suitable location in the Mediterranean for the construction of resorts of the highest category.
