The monumental Croatian National Theater building in the middle of Maršal Tito Square was erected in 1895 according to the concept provided by Helmer and Fellner, well known theater builders. This is why it resembles the Viennese theater so much. The Croatian National Theater building is among the representative historical theaters in Central and Eastern European cities.
