The camp is bordered by the sea on two sides. It is located at the mouth of the Žrnovica River, 5 kilometres from Diocletian’s Palace and the same distance from Salona. The camp remains cool even on the hottest days because of its location on the peninsula, its proximity to the Žrnovica River and a dense wood that provides shade. Less than 100 metres from the camp there are shops, restaurants, pizzerias, night clubs, coffee bars and numerous sports facilities.
